Linda was raised in the Loree First Brethren Church in Bunker Hill, IN. She married Keith Immel 34 years ago, and they have worshipped and served together in the North Manchester First Brethren Church ever since. They have two grown children, Joyce and her family living in Selinsgrove, PA. Also, their son, David, who lives in Portland, OR. Linda and Keith have two amazing grandchildren who were adopted into the family a year ago. Linda works part-time as a Resource teacher at Manchester Intermediate School (4th-6th grades). Her hobbies include reading, scrapbooking, and traveling. She plays in the church's handbell choir and helps to teach the 5th & 6th grade Sunday school class. She is the president of her local W.M.S., and serves as the National Mission Outreach Liaison, etc. (MOLE). Linda spent 3 years serving at Riverside Christian School in Lost Creek, KY in the 1970s, but it wasn't until 1999 that she made her first trip abroad when she and Keith traveled to India with their pastor. That was a life changing experience and was the first of many trips to visit with Brethren Global Partners. In addition to India, they have been to Peru, Chile, and will be in Spain later this summer. Lamentations 3:22-23 is her life verse - "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
